The Solar station is an energy harvesting platform that uses the sun to power a small wireless computer. The parts consist of a 100Watt solar pannel and charge controller connected to a 12volt battery. The computer is a credit card sized ARM type single core machine with 512Mb Ram. An SPI bus from the computer is connected to a external 8 channel analog to digital converter (ADC) chip which is used to take digital readings of the battery charge, the solar panel charge, and an ultraviolet sensor.
Panel should be south facing.
